Explanation of a telescopic hydraulic cylinder:

A telescopic hydraulic cylinder is a compact hydraulic cylinder that extends in several stages to provide a large stroke for a short retracted length.
It consists of several nested cylinder stages that extend like a telescope.

Operation:

By pumping hydraulic fluid under pressure into the cylinder, the smallest inner stage slides out first.
Once it reaches its maximum stroke, the next stage slides out, and so on.
This allows for a long stroke in a compact design.
The cylinder retracts again by letting the fluid flow back.
Telescopic hydraulic cylinders are often used in applications such as motorhomes, dump trucks or cranes, where a large stroke and limited space are required.
