SumoSprings are progressive auxiliary springs designed to improve payload and stabilise the roll, resulting in a direct improvement in control and ride comfort.
Unlike pneumatic bellows, they require no maintenance, lose no air and require no compressors or pneumatic installation.
The air is encapsulated in the form of millions of microcellular bubbles.
They are manufactured in a unique and patented microcellular urethane formula.
Thanks to this material, a desirable smooth and progressive response is achieved in the suspension.
The SumoSprings work together with the original suspension, share the load, help the springs or leaf springs not reach the limit and expire, reducing wear on the original components
The capacity of SumoSprings depends on the height, diameter and density of the unit. The load capacity of a SumoSprings indicates the kilos or pounds of pressure required to compress the part to 50% of its original size. SumoSprings references are available in 3 different densities:
Blue-40 - The density of Blue-40 is the one that holds the most air in the millions of microcellular bubbles, providing an adequate response for light to medium loads, or when the vehicle is operating unloaded most of the time.
Black-47 - Black-47's density balances the amount of urethane and air bubbles to achieve an adequate response for all types of loads, from light to heavy, and is designed for vehicles that are loaded half the time and downloaded the other half.
Yellow-54 - Yellow-54's density retains less air in the material and offers a harder response, especially suitable for medium loads and in permanently loaded vehicles.
